Welcome on my blog where I share the experiences of my six months journey to Kenya and South East Asia. This journey is quite an adventure and something I have dreamed of quite some time. During the journey I will:

• assist the Voices of Africa Media Foundation in setting up a Community Media House in the slum of Majengo in Nairobi Kenia
• conduct a research about the key trends and developments within the African Media industry. The results will be published in the annual research report ‘Uitgever aan het Woord’ published by my employer Thaesis
• enjoy and experience the life and culture of both Kenya and South East Asia (Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos)
